Chocolate [chaw-kuh-lit] Class - February 21, 1-4 pm

Have you ever noticed that there are no 'vanillaholics'? Now, I'm not saying that vanilla isn't wonderful, but chocolate is different. Chocolate is special. Chocolate has the power to elicit the passional devotion of a starry-eyed acolyte. Perhaps it's chocolate's versatility that causes such admiration. Whatever incarnation chocolate assumes, from velvety mousse to a thick-as-pudding cup of hot chocolate to a crisp, butter cookie to layer cake, black with cocoa and topped with swirls of rich buttercream, when it comes to anything chocolate, there really is no substitute.

Come join me at the farm for a chocoholics dream, but be prepared as this will not be for the faint of heart. I will be sure to have the paramedics ready in case anyone has an overdose.

On the menu:
Dark Chocolate Soup with Cinnamon Pound Cake Crouton
Chocolate Mascarpone Cheesecake Pots
Sugar-Crusted Brownie Sundaes with Whisky-Walnut Caramel Sauce
Class is limited to six, and the fee will be $40.
