Why not take the concept of a gratin and remix it in a dip. Here I have taken the ever-popular artichoke dip and made it into a gratin by covering the top with an Italian cheese blend. This makes it extra cheese and gooey for your guests to enjoy.
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 c. mayonnaise
3/4 c. sour cream
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
1 tsp. onion salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 - 14 oz. cans artichoke hearts, medium chop 1/2"
1 1/2 c. Italian cheese blend
Combine all of the ingredients MINUS the Italian cheese blend in a bowl, then transfer to a 2 qt. baking dish. Sprinkle Italian cheese blend on top and bake in a 375 degree, preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Turn broiler on and place dip under broiler to gratin dip for roughly 2-3 minutes. Serve with toasted baguette slices.
