Winter [win-ter] Menu Cooking Class - February 14, 1-4 pm.

Winter compensates for its rigors with some of nature's most flavorful and sustaining ingredients. Robust greens like kale, frisee and escarole thrive in the waning sunlight. Hardy root vegetable such as beets, parsnips and turnips flourish in the cool earth. Zesty citrus fruits abound in mild climates.
