Visions of Alexis Carrington, Sue Ellen Ewing and shoulder pads quickly come to mind. Having the best and showing it off meant you were on top. Nothing was too luxurious or indulgent. It was time to throw out natural and get back to the fancy food of the 60's only with a more dramatic flair. Food now was an olympic sport and we were all training to win the gold.
