Chips made yourself are so much more flavorful than what you buy at the store, not to mention a lot cheaper. Using my Waring Deep Fryer, I set the oil temperature for 375 degrees. I cut 6" four tortillas in four and drop them in batches of ten into the oil. I fry them until lightly brown, turning them half way with tongs. Once removed, I sprinkle them with sea salt immediately.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGvmXnuZG4tzWagP_iisborTfc6ySMtSMYZ4MARIuQ2xlNtfXligGMYcAqww-zA0Z014bxBr3roXNwqAZJ8j3pr6kDm9WKPM30QA2VW-y4KwgYo0n1q9g83reO5W8_7p9ODIwx-LmyCDs/s400/Chips1.jpg)
