My first crochet project in 25 years, I hope I can inspire you!

Here is a little tidbit of my new crochet project.  I have not picked up a crochet hook in 25 years, so I was not sure if I even knew how to do it - I will let the photo speak for itself.  I am going to make an afghan mixing the Soft Blue squares with Chocolate Brown flowers and Chocolate Brown squares with Soft Blue flowers.  I am using Caron Brand Simply Soft Yarn Chocolate (#9750) and Soft Blue (#9712) with a Boye J-sized hook.  This creates a looser stitch which is softer and will lay on the body in a more comfortable fashion.
